CaribNOG 14 Georgetown, Guyana

CaribNOG successfully held its fourteenth regional gathering, CaribNOG 14 in Georgetown Guyana on Oct 9th-13th 2017. CaribNOG14 was held as part of Internet Week Guyana where CaribNOG joined with LACNIC, ISOC, ICANN and the CTU for a week of rich dialogue and technical discussions.

CaribNOG is a critical forum on the region’s technology landscape for rich technical discussions where we seek to better position the Caribbean to address critical technology challenges and issues and to collaboratively derive relevant solutions. CaribNOG14 drew industry experts from across the region and around the world to the beautiful country of Guyana.

Be sure to mark your calendars for the next meeting of the Caribbean Network Operators Group. It takes place in Miami, Florida on April 19 to 20, 2018.  CaribNOG Co-Founders Bevil Wooding and Stephen Lee announced the dates at CaribNOG 14.

“At CaribNOG 15, we’re expecting a large turnout of network operators, telecommunications regulators, academics, Internet service providers, engineering and computer science students, special interest groups and government representatives, drawn from across the region and around the world,” said Wooding, who is also the Caribbean Outreach Manager at the American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN).
