CaribNOG 17 Call for Presentations
The Caribbean Network Operators Group (CaribNOG) will hold its 17th Regional Meeting in Bridgetown, Barbados on April 10 - 12, 2019. The meeting directly follows the ARIN 43 meeting which will be held April 7 – 10, 2019.
The CaribNOG Program Committee seeks proposals for presentations, panels, labs, and case studies for the CaribNOG 17 Regional Meeting. We welcome suggestions for topics around our general theme of Securing Caribbean Networks. Presentations may cover current technologies already deployed or emerging Internet trends. Some sub-themes may include:
IPv6 Deployment – Caribbean Case Studies
IPv6 How-to Labs
Physical Infrastructure for Network Resilience
Internet of Things
We welcome submissions from network operators of all sizes. We are particularly interested in hearing about real-life problems and the solutions implemented. Submissions from vendors will also be accepted, but these must not promote a specific product or vendor. CaribNOG 17 abstracts should be sent to CaribNOG Programme Committee.
The Caribbean Network Operators Group (CaribNOG) is a rich community of Network Operators dedicated to exchanging technical information and experiences related to the management of IP networks in the Caribbean region.
CaribNOG objectives are:
To aggregate the region’s network professionals in a functional technical community
To harness the knowledge and experiences of the community as a rich resource
To provide a robust platform of expertise necessary in building knowledge based economies in the Caribbean region.
To foster technical research in areas of networking and internet technologies that produces a dense culture of mastery of the subject matter
To leverage the technical community in the solving of technical problems arising within the critical internet infrastructure implemented in the Caribbean region.
CaribNOG collaborates with the regional and international organisations and stakeholders to facilitate capacity building and professional networking activities. Initiatives are delivered in several forms including technical workshops, seminars, research-papers and of course, our meetings twice per year.
Submissions will be reviewed by the CaribNOG Programme Committee.

Submissions for Lightning talks (5 to 10 minute presentations) can be submitted on April 8, 2019
